Denise Yoxsimer, President and CEO
Denise Yoxsimer joined the NWF staff in April, 2005. Her 13 years of non-profit development experience include the position of Director of Major Donor Programs for KNPB Channel 5 Public Broadcasting. In this role Denise was responsible for working with members of the Silver Circle, Channel 5’s major donor group. She was also responsible for working with the board leadership committee to complete Channel 5’s capital campaign for the conversion to digital television.
Previous development experience includes Development Director for the Children’s Cabinet in Reno where Denise was responsible for overseeing development and marketing efforts; and Development Officer at Washoe Medical Foundation where she was responsible for coordinating fund raising programs and development efforts for Washoe Medical Center’s pediatric service line. While at Washoe Medical Foundation Denise also served as the Children’s Miracle Network Director, producing the annual Children’s Miracle Network telethon and radio-thon.
Denise has a passion for issues that impact Northern Nevada’s women and children and looks forward to applying her development and management skills to further the mission of the Nevada Women’s Fund.
Prior to her non-profit career, Denise served as Media Relations Coordinator for Washoe Health System, and News Producer for KTVN Channel 2 in Reno.
Denise and her husband Andrew have two children.
Malena S. Raymond, Development Coordinator
Malena joined the NWF in November 2008. She has worked for various non-profits in northern Nevada for the past six years and brings special event, development and PR/marketing experience to her position with the Fund. As Development Coordinator Malena will be primarliy responsible for overseeing all NWF special events, including Salute to Women of Acheivement and Power of the Purse.
Robin Brawner, Executive Assistant / Allocations Coordinator
Robin joined the NWF in January 2010. She has a diverse background, including work for Covance and Vitamin Research Products, Inc. Robin oversees and coordinates the NWF's grant and scholarship application processing, allocations and disbursements.

HONORARY COUNCIL
The Honorary Council is an advisory body whose purpose is to assist Nevada Women’s Fund (NWF) Board of Directors in developing and facilitating the mission of the Fund. Honorary Council members are selected based on their commitment to actively participate in NWF fundraising activities and to articulate the Fund’s mission within the community.
