Nevada Women’s Fund – Inspiring Achievement
The Nevada Women’s Fund and the Rose/Glenn Group recently developed a new logo that has helped us form a distinct new identity symbolizing our role in the community and our dedication to the future of Nevada’s women and children.
The central symbol in the design is a Venus star, representing female energy. This design uses the points of the star and five wavy lines between each point to symbolize Venus in its appearances as both a morning star and evening star – a reference to our commitment to women throughout their lives. This star, rising up over the horizon, symbolizes optimism and hope for the future, and becomes a sign of women being empowered in the community. The colors and type we chose are clean and simple, modern but remarkably timeless and will work on a variety of applications.
This logo perfectly captures the spirit and commitment of the Nevada Women’s Fund. For 25 years we’ve been championing the needs of Nevada’s women and children, devoting ourselves and our intellectual, emotional and financial resources to empowering them, keeping the issues that affect them top of mind, and recognizing their remarkable achievements. We’ve worked to transcend political and social boundaries, bringing women of all backgrounds together to work on the issues that matter most to them and help them to reach their fullest potential.
