Thank You to Businesses Recognizing and Celebrating Women in the Workplace
The Beverly E. Coleman Nevada Health Foundation will be wearing purple on IWD at the legislature in Carson City to highlight the women in politics.
MidTown Reno be featuring all of their women owned businesses in MidTown.
Eide Bailly will be wearing purple on the Friday before IWD and hosting an office lunch on to celebrate the contributions of women to their organization.
Design on Edge will be wearing purple for IWD and showing their support on social media.
2 News Nevada on-air anchors will be dressed in purple through out the day and the station will be covering the Light the Arch Purple event, bringing the celebration to viewers across the community!
Washoe County School District (WCSD) is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day by honoring the impact of women in education who contribute to the success of our schools and community. WCSD will highlight inspiring stories, achievements, and contributions of women across the district through special social media posts.
Assistance League Assistance League is celebrating International Women’s Day by decorating its thrift shop with purple balloons, signage, and team members wearing purple to show support for the occasion. The organization will also highlight the celebration on social media, spreading awareness and recognition for the day.
Caesars Entertainment Corporate will be participating in International Women's Day at multiple properties in the Las Vegas region, Reno and Laughlin properties.
Whittier Trust Company will celebrate International Women’s Day by hosting a group lunch and encouraging employees to wear purple in support of the occasion. A group photo will be taken and featured in the company newsletter to recognize and celebrate the women in the workplace.
Dermody Properties staff will celebrate International Women’s Day by wearing purple and volunteering at the Northern Nevada Food Bank. To commemorate the occasion, the Dermody team will also take a group photo to highlight their participation and support for the day.
Greater Nevada Credit Union will celebrate International Women’s Day by hosting an internal Women’s Empowerment Panel, bringing staff together for an inspiring discussion. Panelists will share insights on women’s achievements, challenges they’ve overcome, and strategies for empowerment, fostering meaningful conversations and celebrating the incredible contributions of women at Greater Nevada.

Brooks Family Dental's all-female team will be celebrated throughout the week with purple-themed gifts, while female patients will receive purple toothbrushes and pens as part of the International Women’s Day celebration. Additionally, the team will be highlighting and celebrating local women-owned businesses on their social media platforms.
Plumas Bank is proudly supporting International Women’s Day by spreading awareness on social media, highlighting women leaders within the organization, and encouraging team members to wear purple in solidarity on Friday, March 7, at the Plumas Bank Reno branch.
Nevada State Bank is proudly celebrating International Women’s Day by wearing purple on Friday, March 7, and highlighting women entrepreneurs with the release of a special Business Insiders podcast on March 4. They will also be sharing their support across social media throughout the celebration.
Silverscreen Decoration & Fulfillment will be changing the color of its entryway sign to purple in support of the celebration. Employees will also be encouraged to wear purple and the company will be actively sharing its participation on social media, including reposting event updates and highlights throughout the day.
Circus Circus - In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, Circus Circus will light up in purple from March 8 – March 16 to celebrate and support women everywhere. This vibrant display is a tribute to the achievements, strength, and contributions of women in our community and beyond!

From the glowing lights on the building to the freeway marquee, and throughout the interior, GSR is proudly displaying its support. Staff have been encouraged to wear purple as part of this vibrant tribute to the women who inspire and lead.
Atlantis Hotel & Casino is ‘going purple’ for International Women’s Day! From lighting up the outdoor fountains and Sky Terrace to showcasing IWD on the marquee screen, they’re making a bold statement. The team is also rallying together, proudly wearing purple in celebration and support.

McDonald's is proudly supporting the Accelerate Equality Walk for Women by providing fruit and water to keep participants refreshed and energized throughout the event. Their generous support ensures participants stay hydrated and nourished as they come together to celebrate, support, and empower women in our community.
PK Electrical is proud to support International Women’s Day by honoring women in architecture, engineering, and construction. Throughout March, employees will wear purple each Friday to show their support, culminating in an in-office luncheon celebrating the hardworking women in the industry and beyond.
Harrah’s and Harveys Lake Tahoe are celebrating International Women’s Day by supporting and uplifting women in their community. They are sponsoring four nominated female leaders from their property to attend the "COSPIRE" Professional Growth and Mentorship Luncheon, focused on "Healthy Hustle: How High-Achieving Teams Innovate."
